Another example of the design process in action is the brainstorming, scripting, production, and editing of video clips. It is a fun and versatile way to have students take the content they are learning and redefine it through a new medium. It can be fairly simply accomplished with even the most basic of phones now, and is really as much of an exercise in creativity, planning, and organization as it is in execution.
This is a practical skill in a world where we are constantly connecting with video. Many professional and social situations now call for some knowledge of video recording. So, by having students adapt an important scene of Shakespeare to a modern 30 second clip is an excellent way to teach students content that they can re-imagine with technology.
