Until recently you would have been hard pressed to have me imagine how computer coding could be used in an Language Arts or History classroom, but it is a brave new world of education out here. Coding allows students to build and practice an excellent skill to have in our evermore technologically demanding society while also remaining on topic. Programming an animation for instance can allow students to re-imagine their favourite scenes, speeches, or events by using their own analysis and creativity.
Furthermore, by providing an early access to a new and expanding market like programming, you may be instilling a life long curiosity that could potentially revolutionize how see each other or how society functions now that we have become so interlinked to advancing technology.
